Marantas are a beautiful addition to any collection! They are members of the prayer plant family - which means their leaves close up at night (as if they’re praying) and open back up in the sunshine!

Common names: Prayer plant, Red Maranta, Lemon Lime Maranta

Botanical names: Maranta leuconeura

Care tips for a happy plant:

Light: indirect light, medium to low light settings

Soil: regular potting soil- we use Happy Frog

Water: with their thin root system you want to space out waterings to every week and a half to two weeks

Humidity: HIGH HIGH HIGH - make a wonderful bathroom plant!

Temperatures: average household temp

Toxicity: non toxic to all!
