Scindapsus

This shimmering beauty is no pothos at all, and is finally getting some time in the light… Often confused as a pothos and a philodendron, there are a few types that you may have had confused (Scindapsus pictus ‘Argyraeus’, Scindapsus pictus ‘Exotica’, Scindapsus pictus ‘Silver Ann’).

Common Names: Satin Pothos, Silver Pothos, Philodendron Silver, Silk pothos

Botanical Name: Scindapsus pictus or exotica

Care tips for a happy plant!

Light: Bright but indirect light, can tolerate medium to low-light

Soil: regular potting soil - we use Happy Frog

Water: Keep this beaut on an every week and a half to two week watering schedule! They have a super thin root system so are prone to root rot if left in damp/moist soil.

Humidity: not picky

Temperature: Average household temperatures.

Toxicity: Toxic to pets and humans if consumed.
