Philodendrons

These are luscious, trailing plants that age like a fine wine - growing longer and fuller as they mature! Dark forest green or bright neon greens - even “painted” leaves can be found on these easy to care for vining plants. They are also incredibly easy to propagate! Just snip the vine off when it becomes too long for you, stick it in some water and once the end has about an inch of healthy white root you can plant it right back into the soil!

Common names: Lemon Lime, Heartleaf, Brazil, Micans

Botanical names: Philodendron hederaceum

Care tips for a happy plant:

Light: medium to low light settings - throw this babe on top of a bookshelf across from the window!

Soil: regular potting soil- we use Happy Frog

Water: definitely let this plant dry out between waterings - even though they look quite full they have a very thin root system and will succumb to root rot quite quickly if left in damp or moist soil for too long

Humidity: not picky

Temperature: average household temps

Toxicity: mildly toxic if consumed
