Crotons
This is another insanely colorful plant, a finicky one at that, but well worth it! It’s rainbow leaves will add that extra pop of color we all need! Starting off small and bush-like, they can grow into small trees with stalky trunks quite comparable to Dracaenas!
Common name: Croton, Petra, Superstar, Zanzibar and more
Botanical name: Codiaeum variegatum
Care tips for a happy plant:
Light: any direct light setting is great for these sunbathing babes - just not northern!
Soil: regular potting soil- we use Happy Frog
Water: every week and a half to two weeks, definitely let her dry out in between waterings
Humidity: not picky
Temperature: average household temps
Toxicity: toxic if consumed
